In this COVID-19 pandemic era, businesses are developing new safety protocols which include temperature screening measures to automatically ascertain additional safeguards for employees, retail customers, and visitors at various organizational facilities.
Moreze’s kiosk provides contactless, self-service technology to measure users and visitors who could be “at risk” temperatures when entering the facility. The Kiosk utilizes a proximity sensor to detect the presence of an individual and prompts the UI without the screen being touched. The contactless thermal camera then scans the user to read and report his/her temperature. The thermographic camera with its related system software provides a temp scan with an accuracy of ± 0.5°C. The system software provides the temperature data measured and also the status whether “elevated” or “not elevated”. The operator then has the acceptable information to either deny or grant entry basis facility protocols and policies.
The fully enclosed form factor is built for unattended use and is way extremely ruggedized than other camera mounting solutions. The platform could be equipped with automated facial detection along-with the temperature measurement software. Basis the temperature output, the user is indicated on-screen to either enter or wait for assistance (messages and range numbers are configurable).
This contactless self-service facility for temperature screening reduces direct human interaction significantly, thus reducing the risk of virus transmission between the operator and the user. Also, this automated process ensures reduced labour overhead associated with paid personnel managing this repetitive function.
